22 things I’ve learned by 22

I turned 22 last week! And honestly, I feel kinda old. It was seriously uneventful BUT I’m already mentally preparing for my dirty-thirty party. (!!!) In the spirit of getting wiser, I thought it would be fun to reflect on all the lesson’s I’ve learned along the way. Cheers! 🥂

  3. The way you speak to yourself matters.
  4. What is coming is better than what is gone.
  5. Sometimes we outgrow people who aren’t growing.
  6. You owe yourself the love you give freely to other people.
  7. Be kind to unkind people. They need it most.

  9. Eating well is a form of self-care.
  10. Nothing changes if nothing changes.
  11. Happiness will never come to those who don’t appreciate what they already have.
  12. Literally no one has it all together.
  13. Realistically, you’re the only person standing in your way.
  14. Make yourself a priority.
  15. Life is never as pretty as it seems on instagram.
  16. Never go to bed upset about something.
  17. Unplug. Be present.
  18. You don’t have to do it all. Really.
  19. Life will always go on.
  20. Work hard in silence.
  21. Choose people who choose you.
  22. You may not end up where you thought you were going, but you will always end up where you are meant to be.
